This is the place that gave birth to monotheistic religions such as Christianity, Islam and Judaism. There are historic buildings and open air museum representing ancient cities and that resonate with sounds. Middle East houses significant cities such as Cairo, Jerusalem, Baghdad, Damascus and Istanbul. The epic cities of early times mark the centuries passage that shows the ancient world in places such as Petra, Palmyra, Baalbek, Persepolis, Leptis Magna and Ephesus.

The regions are spellbinding with stunning mountains, unrivalled seas and palm-fringed lakes in the desert. The enduring memory refers to the lovely people, their gracious welcome and boundless hospitality that even the most discerning traveler would also be charmed. The frequently visited countries in this region are Turkey and its palaces as well as Istanbul mosques.

Similarly, people adore the Mediterranean beaches, the Agean coast and the tourist infrastructure of Israel, the Dead Sea and no doubt the Jerusalem city. Lebanon, Jordan and Syria are as well easy to visit and have abundant sights and friendly population.

The Persian Gulf countries such as UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia are conservative and are benefited due to oil boom. Yemen is beautiful and certainly worth visiting. Iran is rapidly becoming an interesting place. However, visiting old cities such as Tabriz, Isfahan and Shiraz is also interesting.

Iraq is a tough place and it has interesting historical sights, but owing to the political climate, one is forced to think twice before visiting. Middle East food is good with fresh vegetables, good dips, and great salads. The kebab and pita bread, humus and falafel are simply superb. The Lebanese humus is the best, while Lebanon and Israel offer the best food from Russian stews to Yemenite pancakes.
